I am gonna pop the big question to my gf and am buying a ring from USA and having it shipped to Australia. The problem is they will only ship to the address on the credit card account and if it arrives at my house she might find it as we live together. I was gonna ask a friend to pay with his credit card, then pay him in cash, but don’t want him to end up in the middle if something goes wrong with the transaction. Otherwise they will take bank transfer but it is a lot more risky and it is an online transaction so it is already risky. What should I do? Any ideas? p.s. it is from http://www.diamondsonweb.com/

I don’t want a yellow/white gold or even platinum ring. I don’t want diamonds on it, even accent ones. But ALL the websites and stores I’ve visited in person only has the above. What I wanted was a silver ring with my birthstone as the center, and two emerald rings on each side for his birthstone – sort of ‘hugging’ me. That truly does represent how we feel about each other, how I’m his. What does a diamond and gold represent? Nothing. A diamond represents forever, but symbolizes absolutely nothing about love. We both have already agreed on it and he is extremely excited if we can get one like that AND we’ve agreed quite a long time ago that the traditional engagement rings do not symbolize anything at all.
